Director Qualifications and Info
Thank you for your interest in the District 4 Board of Directors seat. Voluntary and open membership and Democratic Member Control are two of the seven cooperative principles that guide our operations every day. If you are a member of the Washington EMC and your primary residence is in District 4 (geographical explanation below*) and would like to be considered by the Board of Directors for filling the vacancy, please submit the required information listed below to our headquarters office located at 258 North Harris Street, Sandersville, GA 31082. The information must be received at our office by the close of business at 4:30pm on Friday, April 18, 2025.
We kindly ask that you drop the required information off at our Sandersville headquarters office, and not mail or email the information. That way we are assured they are delivered on time.

Required Information:
- A letter introducing yourself, your interest in serving on the board and why you feel you would be a great candidate for the seat.
- A resume outlining your professional experience, education, experience serving on other boards or committees, professional certifications, public or volunteer service and any additional information you would like to include.
- A signed and notarized Affidavit.
* Geographical description of Washington EMC's District 4: All that portion of service territory of the cooperative in Washington County east of a line that extends along Indian Trail Road beginning at the Hancock/Washington County line to Highway 24; north of Highway 24 and north of Highway 88 to the Washington County line.
